MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS

We have advised foreign groups in complex acquisitions involving multiple jurisdictions, including Ecuador. Our advice has included due diligence processes, designing the most appropriate legal structure for the acquisition, analyzing the tax impact of the transaction, drafting the agreements and closing the transaction.

We have experience in handling these types of processes and in interacting with foreign firms. We have also represented local clients in the sale of their businesses to foreign business groups and in complex mergers, advising them on corporate, tax, labor and competition matters.

LITIGATION

We have extensive experience in advising and representing the interests of our clients in complex litigation at the national level, in all judicial instances.

We have litigated in judicial processes of significant amounts, in the civil, commercial, contentious-administrative and tax areas, among others.
